Tattoo pre care

Please come to your appointment well-rested, hydrated, and fed. Eating beforehand helps keep your blood sugar stable and makes the appointment more comfortable.

Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment, and avoid blood-thinning medications when possible. If you take prescribed medication, please consult your physician before stopping or changing anything.

Please avoid heavy sun exposure, tanning, or sunburn before your appointment. I cannot tattoo over irritated, burned, peeling, or broken skin.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. For example, if you’re getting a rib, hip, sternum, or back piece, choose clothing that makes the area easy to access while still keeping you comfortable.

Please arrive with clean skin and avoid applying lotion, oils, or heavy products to the area being tattooed the day of your appointment.

Tattoo After Care

Proper aftercare helps your tattoo heal as cleanly and beautifully as possible. Fine line tattoos are delicate by nature, so gentle care is key.

Leave your bandage on as instructed.
If a second-skin bandage is used, keep it on for the recommended amount of time unless irritation occurs. If you notice redness, burning, itching, or discomfort from the bandage, remove it and begin standard aftercare.

Wash gently.
After removing your bandage, wash your tattoo with clean hands using a gentle, fragrance-free soap and lukewarm water. Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Do not scrub.

Moisturize lightly.
Apply a very thin layer of fragrance-free lotion or tattoo-safe ointment as needed. Your tattoo should feel hydrated, not greasy. Too much product can slow healing.

Avoid soaking.
No swimming, baths, hot tubs, saunas, or soaking your tattoo until it is fully healed. Showers are okay — just avoid letting water directly beat down on the tattoo for too long.

Avoid sun exposure.
Keep your tattoo out of direct sun while it heals. Once fully healed, sunscreen will help protect the tattoo and slow fading over time.

Do not pick or scratch.
Flaking, dryness, and light scabbing can be normal. Let everything fall off naturally to avoid pulling out pigment or causing irritation.

Avoid friction and tight clothing.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing around the tattooed area while it heals. Areas with more movement or friction may take extra care.

Healing timeline.
Most tattoos begin to look healed on the surface within 1–2 weeks, but they are typically fully healed around 4 weeks. Fine line tattoos may soften slightly as they settle into the skin. During this time, continue to avoid picking, soaking, tanning, and heavy sun exposure so your tattoo can heal as cleanly as possible.

Nano Brow Pre-Care

To help your brows heal as cleanly as possible, please come to your appointment well-rested, hydrated, and fed.

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood thinners for 24 hours before your appointment. If you take prescribed medication, please consult your physician before stopping or changing anything.

Avoid tanning, heavy sun exposure, chemical peels, laser treatments, retinol, exfoliants, and active skincare around the brow area before your appointment. The skin should be calm, healthy, and free of irritation.

Please do not wax, tint, laminate, or heavily groom your brows right before your appointment. If possible, come with your natural brow growth so we can map and shape them properly.

Do not wear heavy makeup on or around the brow area the day of your appointment. You may wear your normal face makeup if you’d like, but the brow area should be clean.

If you have previous brow tattooing, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have very oily skin, certain skin conditions, or any medical concerns, please reach out before booking so we can make sure you’re a good candidate.

Nano Brow Contraindications

Nano brows may not be suitable for everyone. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking Accutane, undergoing chemotherapy, prone to keloid scarring, have uncontrolled diabetes, active skin irritation near the brows, previous brow tattooing, or any medical concerns, please reach out before booking if you are unsure or have any concerns. Some clients may need medical clearance before receiving the service.

nano After care

Proper aftercare is important for the best healed results. Nano brows are delicate, and the way they heal can depend on your skin type, lifestyle, and how closely aftercare is followed.

Keep them clean and dry.
For the first 24 hours, gently blot the brows as instructed to remove any excess lymph fluid. After that, cleanse only as directed using clean hands and a gentle touch. Avoid soaking the brows or letting water sit on them.

Do not pick, scratch, or peel.
Light flaking, dryness, or patchiness can be a normal part of healing. Let everything shed naturally. Picking can pull pigment from the skin and affect your healed results.

Avoid makeup and skincare on the brow area.
Do not apply makeup, retinol, exfoliants, acids, oils, or active skincare directly on or around the brows while they are healing.

Avoid sweating, steam, and soaking.
For best results, avoid heavy workouts, saunas, hot tubs, swimming, and excessive sweating during the initial healing period.

Protect them from the sun.
Avoid tanning and direct sun exposure while your brows heal. Once fully healed, sun protection helps keep your brows from fading too quickly.

Trust the healing process.
Your brows may look darker and bolder at first, then soften, lighten, or appear patchy as they heal. This is normal. The perfecting appointment is where we refine the shape, color, and any areas that healed lighter.

Healing timeline
Nano brows typically take about 10–14 days to heal on the surface, but the skin continues settling underneath for several weeks. Your perfecting appointment is scheduled 6–8 weeks after your initial appointment so we can see how your brows healed before adding more detail.
